On March 5, 2025, the City of Miami Beach took an important step forward in making government services more accessible to its residents. City Manager Eric Carpenter, supported by Mayor Steven Meiner and the members of the Miami Beach Commission, opened the doors to the city for a scouting visit from our office—The purpose? To explore potential locations for what would become the future Miami-Dade County Tax Collector’s Office right here in Miami Beach.
As your Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, I am committed to expanding our services and ensuring they are as convenient and accessible as possible. By establishing a new office in Miami Beach, we are making it easier for residents to access critical services, such as property tax payments, motor vehicle registrations, driver’s license renewals, and much more—all in one convenient location, closer to home.
This is a significant step toward improving service delivery and creating a more efficient experience for the people of Miami-Dade County. Many of our residents live, work, and do business in Miami Beach, and it’s essential that we bring these services directly to them, making it simpler and more efficient for them to get things done.
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the incredible team at the City of Miami Beach, as well as to Mayor Meiner and the Commissioners, for their ongoing support and collaboration. It is through our partnership that we can make this vision a reality, and I look forward to continuing to work together to provide better access and improved services for all our residents.
Stay tuned for more updates as we move forward with this exciting new project. Together, we are taking another step toward enhancing the quality of life for the people of Miami-Dade County!
