Miami-Dade County, March 5, 2025 – The Miami-Dade County Office of the Tax Collector, led by Honorable Dariel Fernandez, is proud to announce the grand opening of the new Tax Collector Office, located at the North Dade Justice Center (15555 Biscayne Blvd, North Miami Beach, FL 33160), on Monday, March 10, at 10:30 a.m.
This marks the second new Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Office opened in just 60 days since taking office, as part of the transition from state-operated offices to the Miami-Dade County Tax Collector’s Office. Residents will now have access to a fully renovated, modern facility designed to provide enhanced customer service, cut down long lines and waiting times, and offer driver license and identification cards services. This office will soon offer additional services, including property tax payments, motor vehicle registrations, and more.
“Residents have long had to come to us, but now, for the first time, we are going to them,” said Fernandez. “As your Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, my priority is to bring services closer to the people, reduce bureaucracy, and ensure our community receives the efficient and respectful service it deserves.”
The public and media are invited to attend this historic event and be part of the next step in transforming public service in Miami-Dade County.
