In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez and Commissioner Raquel Regalado are launching Neuro-Inclusive Service Days—a monthly initiative to make government services more accessible to residents with autism and other developmental or sensory needs.
“We believe that true public service means making sure no one is left behind,” said Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “This program represents a shared commitment—together with Commissioner Regalado and all Miami-Dade constitutional officers —to create a more inclusive Miami-Dade. We are redefining government service by meeting every resident with empathy, and care.”
The first event will be held Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Downtown Tax Collector’s Office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will offer a streamlined, supportive one-stop experience for essential services including:

● Autism Decal Registration with the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office
